Hermanos de la Iglesia de Cristo de Lake City Gracia y paz sean a vosotros, de Dios el padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo Gal: 1:3 Hermanos les escribimos para que sepan como estamos y del trabajo que llevamos a cabo este mes en la Iglesia . Ahora hemos empezado un plan de trabajo en la Iglesiallamado Reedificando la Iglesia, empezando con los sermones y todo lo referente al servicio pero todo basado en la palabra de Dios .Queremos tener una Iglesia que este bien estructurada pero nuestra base es la Iglesia del primer siglo estamos enfocados en tener ancianos como ya les habia contado en los reportes anteriores hemos tenido reuniones de varones para orar y tomar la direccion de Dios y para el mes de Noviembre se hara oficial la precentacion . Les pedimos que nos tengan en sus oraciones ya que es una gran responsabilidad esta mision que el Señor nos esta encomendando y solo El puede darnos su direccion atraves de su palabra. Nos estamos preparando todos los varones de la Iglesia para ese cambio y asi trabajar todos en comun Esperanza sigue al frente de las mujeres el 18 y 19 de septiembre tuvieron un retiro de mujeres y fue un exito gracias a Dios ya que asistieron casi todas las mujeres se han lavantado mujerespara el trabajo con ella ya que estan preparando su reunion que tienen para el proximo mes de Diciembre Jaz y Faby
tambien estan trabajando para la reunion de jovenes que tienen para el proximo mes de Octubre donde esperan de 120 a 150 jovenes de diferentes Iglesias de la republica es su segunda reunion esto es parte del trabajo que estamos haciendo aqui en Leon la Fam Rubio
para darle la honra y gloria al Señor Betillo sigue con las mismas ganas estudiando y preparandose y la pequeña Ximena en la escuela ya sabe muy bien leer esperamos algun dia verlos y conocerlos ya que gracias a Dios y a ustedes estamos aqui trabajando en la obra del Señor les amamos 1 tesalonicenses 1:2-4,1 : 8-10

Hermano te pido disculpa por no haver escrito antes , pero pensaba mandarles este mes un C.D. con parte de lo hemos hecho aquí en León Gto, solo que a Jazmín se le descompuso la computadora y la que tenia Fabiola era de la iglesia y ya la entrego a Omar.
Hermanos perdón pero nunca ha sido mi intensión dejarlos sin noticias sobre lo que pasa y hacemos aquí en León, toda la familia Rubio sigue trabajando con gusto para nuestro Señor.
El liderazgo de la iglesia estamos planeando lo que sera el año 2010, tenemos varios planes , y oramos para que Dios nos bendiga para salir adelante con el trabajo planeado, tenemos en mente invcrar a todos los hermanos en algun ministerio de acuerdo a las capacidades o donnes que cada uno tiene, queremos tener una iglesia donde cada uno tenga una responsabilidad y se una igleisia comprometida con el trabajo del Señor.
Tenemos planes y oramos para tener un lugar propio donde reunirnos, este es el sueño de los lideres, pero tambien sabemos que las cosas Dios las da a su tiempo, y no al tiempo de nosotros.
Dando tambien gracias a Dios por habernos dado vida, salud, gozo, felicidad y dinero este año, les damos gracias por las bendiciones que el derramo sobre cada uno de ustedes sus hijos que tienen fe y confianza en Él.
Ron, hermano parte del trabajo que realice fue predicar algunos domingos, hablarle del evangelio a mi familia, a la familia de Espe y a algunas personas del mundo.
En la ase dominical me toca enseñar el libro de los hechos , lo mismo Espe ha estado dando clases, Jazmín y Fabiola tambien.

Jazmín y Fabiola ayudan a el hermano Shawn en el liderazgo con los jovenes, y de Betillo tu lo sabes en la escuela aprendiendo mas de nuestro Señor, este domingo viene a visitarnos, despues se va a Mazatlan una semana por una reunion de jovenes donde lo invitaron a dar una clase y un taller de cantos, para mi es un gran orgullo y agradesco a Dios que mi familia se hallan convenrtido al Señor y que esten trabajando para Él, solo nos falta la pequeña Ximena.
Ron hermano gracias por preocuparte por nosotros y otra vez perdon por no hacerte saber de nosnotros el mes anterior, pero ten la plena seguridad y confianza que la familia Rubio sigue trabajando para el Señor, y comprendo la necesidad de saber lo que estamos haciendo por que como decimos aca "mas vale un hecho que mil palabras"
Ron y hermanos de la iglesia de Lake City reciban todo nuestro amor y cariño y que estos dias de naidad y año nuevo se la pasen muy felices con sus seres queridos. Dios los colme de bendiciones, oramos por ustedes.

Also giving thanks to God for giving us life, health, joy, happiness and money this year, we give thanks for the blessings he poured out upon each of you children who have faith and trust in Him
Ron, the brother of the work done was preach some Sundays, to speak the gospel to my family, Esperanza's family and some people in the world.
In the Sunday roast I have to teach the book of Acts, the same has been teaching Esperanza, Jasmine and Fabiola too.

Hermanos de la iglesia de Lake Cities gracia y paz sea con vosotros, de Dios nuestro padre y del señor Jesucristo. Col. 1:2

Hermanos les pido disculpas mandando estas letras, un poco tarde, yo se que no ha excusas que valgan cuando se tiene un compromiso.

Nuestro trabajo en León ha sido y es muy agradable, estamos muy contentos de estar trabajando en esta iglesia, junto con los hermanos Gary y Palafox, que han sido de gran ayuda y ejemplo para nosotros.

Le damos gracias a Dios por esta bendición que tenemos por trabajar con este equipo, con el cual ya cumplimos dos años aquí en León. Ya estamos planeando las cosas en las que trabajaremos el próximo año, y con l ayuda de Dios esperamos que todo el plan de trabajo sea una bendición para nuestra iglesia, para que nuestro Dios sea glorificado.

En nuestra vida familiar, pues como en toda familia con algunos imprevistos:
Esperanza esta un poco enferma de su columna ya que en días pasados se cayó cuando fuimos a limpiar el edificio.
Yo estuve un poco enfermo de la gripe lo mismo que Fabiola, pero en lo demás estamos trabajando con amor para el Señor, Jazmín trabajando, Fabiola estudiando al igual que Ximena que ya esta aprendiendo a leer, sumar, restar y a escribir y de Betillo pues el sigue poniendo todo su esfuerzo y dedicación en la escuela en Ecuador, y lo han invitado a predicar aquí en la iglesia de León y en una reunió en Mazatlán en navidad.

Hermanos gracias por todo el trabajo que hacen por nosotros, Dios los bendiga, un abrazo para cada uno de ustedes, los amamos con el amor del Señor. Isaías 5:28

Brothers of the Lake Cities Church of Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Col. 1:2 I apologize Brothers sending these letters, a little late, I know not excuses when you have a commitment.

Our work in Leon has been and is very nice, we are very pleased to be working in this church, along with brothers Gary and Palafox, which have been of great help and example for us. We thank God for this blessing that we have to work with this team, which has already served two years here in Leon. We're already planning things will be working next year, and with all God's help we hope the entire work plan is a blessing to our church, that our God be glorified.

In our family life, because as in any family with some contingencies: Esperanza this a little sick of his column and who recently fell off when we went to clean the building. I was a little sick of the flu as well as Fabiola, but otherwise we are working with love for the Lord, Jasmine working, studying Fabiola Ximena like that is already learning to read, add, subtract and write and therefore Betillo the still putting all his effort and dedication to the school in Ecuador, and have invited him to preach here at the church of León and in a meeting in Mazatlan at Christmas.

Queridos hermanos es un gusto para nosotros platicar y compartir lo que ha sucedido durante este mes de Julio ya que ha sido de grandes bendiciones, nos proveo de todo lo que necesitaba mi hijo para irse a estudiar.

Yo, Esperanza, Faby, Betillo y Ximena fuimos a trabajar a Toluca a lo que fue Rancho Avalancha fue una semana de gran trabajo... Betillo dio un devocional ya que yo me sentí un poco mal de salud y estuve en reposo un día a pesar de eso estuvimos muy contentos de trabajar para el Señor, Ximena estuvo en clase con los niños de preescolar. Platicamos con Liz y Philips y un día salimos a cenar con ellas y con Carla y Andy fue muy grato volver a convivir con ellos al igual que con los hermanos de Toluca, fue de gran gozo tanto de su parte como nuestra, también fueron con nosotros unos sobrinos y trabajaron en el equipo nos da gusto saber que nuestra familia ya empieza a escuchar de la palabra. A mí me invitaron a predicara a la congregación de San Miguel Allende y mis suegros fueron con nosotros. Faby al terminar el trabajo en Toluca se fue a Chihuahua a una reunión nacional que se hace cada año en diferentes partes de México estuvo una semana por allá. Ha Beto le hicimos una despedida con todos los miembros de la iglesia y después los jóvenes le organizaron otra, estuvimos un poco tristes por la partida de nuestro hijo ya que sale el miércoles 5 de Agosto a la 1:30pm pedimos sus oraciones por él ya que las va a necesitar ya que nunca ha estado solo pero al igual estamos gozosos por la elección que tomó de aprender para estar al servicio del Señor. Oramos para que sea un gran siervo y que nunca pierda su humildad.

Gracias hermanos por las bendiciones que hemos recibido atreves de ustedes...

Ron esperamos tu visita ya sabes que esta es tu casa y siempre serán bienvenidos, los amamos mucho y que el Señor los siga bendiciendo y multiplicando lo que nos han dado.

Dear brothers is a pleasure for us to talk and share what has happened during this month of July as it has been of great blessings, provides us with everything we needed to leave my son to study.
I, Esperanza, Faby, Ximena Betillo and went to work in Toluca what was Avalanche Ranch was a great week of work ... Betillo gave a devotional because I felt a little bad health and was resting a day in spite of that we were very pleased to be working for the Lord, Ximena was in class with children from preschool.
Liz and talked with Philips and one day went to dinner with them and with Carla, and Andy was very pleased to return to live with them as with the brothers of Toluca, was of great joy from his part as we were also with us nephews and some worked on the team we are pleased to know that our family is beginning to hear of the word.
I was invited to preach to the congregation of San Miguel Allende and my parents-in-law were with us.
Faby to finish the job in Toluca went to Chihuahua to a national meeting which takes place every year in different parts of Mexico was a week there.
Beto has made him a farewell with all members of the church and the youth after he organized another, we were a little saddened by the departure of our son and leaving on Wednesday, August 5 at 1:30 pm we ask your prayers for him and that you need has never been alone, but as we rejoice at the election that took to learn to serve the Lord. We pray to be a great servant and never lost his humility.

Hola hermanos esperamos que se encuentren bien con la gracia de Dios.

Nosotros a todos ustedes Familia Cullum e Iglesia de Lake Cites por sus oraciones hacia nosotros en especial por Beto jr que estuvo enfermo y por la desicion que ha tomado de ir a estudiar a Quito, Ecuador ya solo le queda un mes con nosotros, ya que el martes 7 ira a Guadalajara a sacar su visa y el 4 de Agosto si el señor lo permite saldra para Ecuador, pedimos que nos sigan acompañando con sus oraciones.

Al igual para Faby ya que hizo su examen de admision para la universidad y esperamos que el Señor le regale esa bendicion ya que para el dia 8 le dan resultados.

Hermanos estamos muy contentos y gozosos por estar en el camino del Señor y contar con hermanos como ustedes que aunque no los veamos fisicamente sabemos que estamos en sus corazones como ustedes estan en los nuestros y al ver a nuestros hijos que tambien estan al servicio del Señor , ya q este fin de semana tuvieron un retiro en el edificio... Jazmin, Faby y Beto Jr, hicieron equipo con Shawn y Barbara con el trabajo sobre el retiro, pero fue muy edificante para todos nuestros jovenes ya que es un grupo grande de aproximadamente 30 jovenes que asistieron, algunos hermanos apoyamos para llevar comida.

Yo el 5 de julio ire a predicar a Sn Miguel Allende ya que el hermano Arrollo me hizo la invitacion, yo invite a mis suegros y esperamos que sea un inicio para ellos escuchando la palabra de Dios.

les cuento que Ximena ya esta por teminar el kinder y comenzara un nuevo ciclo en su vida, le han estado dando clases de ingles en el kinder y ahora ya puede cantar witsi witsi araña y recuerda cuando Ron se la cantaba en Guanajuato, ella pregunta si algun dia volvera a verlos...

Mientras q Esperanza empezo a evangelizar a una señora la cual le da estudio una vez por semana el nombre de ella es Rosy y ha hablado con Elena ya que ya se la habia dado estudio y ahora ya empezara a reunirse otra vez y esperemos en Dios que se bautize, les pedimos que pongan sus oraciones hacia ellas.

Gracias hermanos por cada una de las bendiciones que Dios nos da atravez de ustedes aun si conocerlos a todos personalmente los amamos en el amor de Cristo y esperamos que algun dia vallamos a visitarlos, estamos orando por eso.

Queridos hermanos nuevamente aqui escribiendo para saludarles y platicarles de las actividades que hemos realizado como familia.
ustedes supieron algunas actividades escolares y de varios trabajos que se suspendieron por razones de la influenza, en ese tiempo no pudimos salir mucho ya que en la iglesia tambien se suspendieron algunas actividades pero fue bueno el tiempo que compartimos mas como familia.
Nos hemos empezado a preparara para la partida de Beto y estamos muy contentos por la desicion que ha tomado ya que es un hijo muy valiente que deja su familia para estudiar la palabra de Dios.
Agradecemos a TODOS ustedes por sus oraciones ya que todo ha estado saliendo bien gracias a Dios.
AL igual salimos a Comonfort ya que la mamá de Esperanza se enfermo y estuvimos con mi suegra y su familia apoyandolos y cuidandolos por 4 dias.
El 10 de Mayo los jovenes llevaron mañanitas a las hermanas de la Iglesia fue un bonito detalle de su parte.
Gracias a Dios llegaron con bien los AIMers y al parecer ya se estan acoplando a la iglesia como a los hermanos.
Esperanza se inscribio a unas clases de pinturas donde en las fotos les mostramos algunas cosas que ha realizado.

Gracias a Dios hemos estado muy bien y trabajando para el Señor...

Dear brothers writing here again to greet and talk about the activities we've done as a family.
Some of you knew of several school activities and jobs that were suspended because of the flu in that time we could not get out much because the church was also suspended some activities but it was good time but we share as a family.
We have begun to prepare for departure from Beto and we are very pleased by the decision he has taken since it is a very brave child who leaves her family to study God's word.
Thank you all for your prayers and that everything was going well thank God.
As we went Comonfort since Esperanza's mother is ill and we were with my mother in law and his family supported and supervised by 4 days.

Este sabado los jovenes tuvieron una fiesta decembrina, donde tuvieron un juego que se llama "Buscando el Tesoro" donde los jovenes tenian que buscar algunas cosas y tenial que sacarse fotos.Fue un sabado increibles, agradecemos a la Familia Gary por su trabajo que hacen para los jovenes.

This Saturday the youth had a holydays, where they had a game called "Finding Treasure" where the youth had to find some things that tenial and taken pictures. Saturday was an incredible grateful to Gary for his family work they do for young people.

Hola hermanos esperamos que esten bien como son nuestros mejores decesos.

Pues aqui estan una de las actividades que realizamos a finales de noviembre e inicios de diembre para la IV reunion de mujeres.
del 26 al 29 de noviembre tuvimos un retiro de misioneros, donde conocimos a mas personas que estan trabajando igual que nosotros.Fue de gran gozo para nosotros el poder asistir ya que ahora tenemos mas en mente que hay mas personas como nosotros trabajando para un mismo fin.
el lunes 1 de diciembre, nos reunimos los misioneros con los AIMers para limpiar la bodega y reorganiozar las cosas y ver que hacia falta en la iglesia,
el viernes 5 de diciembre las mujeres y algunos varones nos reunimos en la mañana para limpiar el edificio y ver que hacia falta para la reunión.
y el dia tan esperado para las mujeres fue esta sabado 6 de diciembre ya que fue la reunion cuyo tema fue: transformacion verdadera quien lo impartio fue la hermana Maria Elena Palafox de Guadalajara, mientras que Esparanza dio una dinamica, Jazmin fue la que dirigio el progarama y Fabiola dirigio cantos, y vienieron mujeres de distintas partes del estado de Guanajuato, de Guadalajara, San Luis de la Paz y D.F.
Fue un día lleno de gozo y amor entre hermanas y damos garacias a Dios por que todo salio bien.

Hello brothers who are well as we hope they're our best deaths. Well, here are one of the activities that we made in late November and early diembre IV for the reunion of women.

On from 26 to Nov. 29, we had a drawing of missionaries, where we met more people are working like us. It was of great joy for us to be able to attend since we now have more in mind that there are more people like us working for the same purpose. Monday, December 1, we met with the missionaries AIMers to clean the cellar and reorganiozar things and to see that missing from the church, Friday, December 5 women and some men we met in the morning to clean the building and to see that absence for the meeting. and the long-awaited day for women was this Saturday December 6 because it was the reunion with the theme: real transformation gave him was the sister of Maria Elena Palafox Guadalajara, while Espar gave a dynamic, Jazmin was the leadership of the progarama and Fabiola leadership songs, and women come from different parts of the state of Guanajuato, Guadalajara, San Luis de la Paz and DF It was a day full of joy and love among sisters and we garacias to God that everything went well. Este sábado 18 de Octubre huvo una reunión femenil en la ciudad de Toluca, donde el tema fue " Amense los unos a los otros."
De nuestra iglesia fueron 17 mujeres y mas de 400 mujeres de otras iglesias de Cristo. Le damos gracias a Dios por estos eventos ya que con ellos se alimenta el espíritu y alma de nuestras mujeres además de animarse las unas con las otras.
Además de que conocieron a personas nuevas también pudimos disfruta con aquellas personas que convivimos y que extrañábamos.
Gracias a Dios por darnos vida y tiempo para poder gozarnos en su amor.

Queremos agradecerles toda la familia Rubio, la visita de nuestros hermanos Ron, Stive, Linda y Nancy. Ojala hayan estado contentos los días que pasaron con nosotros, para nosotros fue de gran bendición el haberlos tenido aquí en nuestra casa.
Queremos agradecer el que se preocupen por nosotros, gracias por sus oraciones, gracias por su apoyo. Nosotros seguiremos trabajando en la obra del Señor aquí en León y donde se nos presente la oportunidad de predicar su evangelio. Ahora conocen mas del trabajo que se esta haciendo aquí en la iglesia de Cristo en León.

Hermanos queremos compartir con ustedes la gran bendición de gozar el tiempo que tenemos aquí en León el día 5 de Septiembre de 2007 llegamos con unas ganas de trabajar y gracias a Dios continuamos con el mismo entusiasmo, este año ha sido de gran bendición para toda nuestra familia ya que le tiempo ha sido muy corto y nuestros hijos han hecho nuevos propósitos para trabajar ya que Beto tienen el deseo de salir a estudiar la palabra de Dios y eso nos motiva mucho y Jazmín y Faby se han entregado al trabajo de la iglesia y todo esto es de bendición para nosotros ya que veo el poder de Dios sobre mi familia.
Es un año en que toda la familia en que toda la familia se integro al servicio y al ver todo esto glorifico el nombre de mi Señor
En este tiempo hemos empezado a compartir la palabra con nuestra familia de sangre, sus papas de Esperanza antes cuando nosotros hablabamos de Dios no nos escuchaban y se iban, pero ahora nos escuchan y nos piden ayuda con sus hijos y sus papas han visto el cambio que ha habido en nuestras vidas
Mi papa y hermanos me escuchan cuando hablo del evangelio, les pido que oren por estas dos parte de nuestras familias ya que este trabajo no es solamente de nosotros es también de ustedes, por que oran por nosotros y queremos agradecerles con todo nuestro amor y nuestro corazón el que ustedes estén con nosotros, es un trabajo en equipo, agradecemos por su apoyo económico, por sus oraciones, y por el gran amor que nos tienen y gracias a Dios por sus vidas y haberlos puesto en nuestro camino ya que son de bendición para la familia Rubio.

Queridos y muy amados hermanos, me da gusto volver a escribir para ustedes y contarles lo que hicimos en el mes de julio.

Al inicio del mes nos fuimos Esperanza, Faby y yo a Guanajuato a trabajar con el grupo de Texas, Toluca y el D.F. y algunas personas de León. Fuimos una semana a la escuelita bíblica ya que al trabajar con niños aprendemos mucho de ellos. También al volver a ver a nuestros hermanos de Toluca y del D.F. fue de gran bendición, por que fue un gran equipo, pero de mayor bendición fueron los niños de Guanajuato. Y gracias a Dios 2 familias se empezaron a reunir en la iglesia, una de estas familias fue la de la directora del kinder donde fue el evento, ella se llama Ofelia y su esposo Edgar y sus hijas, ellos también se han venido a reunir aquí a León ya que ha surgido una bonita amistad entre nosotros, su hija la mas pequeña se fue a Saltillo a la reunión de jóvenes con nuestros hijos y los jóvenes de la iglesia y después q regresamos de Guanajuato fuimos a Comonfort por que el abuelo de Esperanza estaba muy enfermos, ahí estuvimos 2 días por que teníamos trabajo aquí en León, estuvimos trabajando con el grupo de hermanos que vinieron con Shawn y esta semana que termino llego otro grupo de Mezquite y también estuvimos ahí con ellos trabando, el jueves tuvimos estudio con ellos aquí en la casa, también pedimos sus oraciones en un nuevo ministerio que con ayuda del Señor queremos empezar, es ir y dar pan y café a algunos hospitales como lo estábamos haciendo en Toluca, estoy muy contento por que veo la Gloria de Dios en todos ustedes queridos hermanos.

Quisiera contarles lo que hecho este mes, pues estoy dando clases a los niños y ha sido una buena experiencia, me ha gustado trabajar con ellos ya que es una gran ayuda en mi vida de cristiano, es muy edificante, otra cosa que me ayudo es ir a la reunión nacional de jóvenes que este año fue en Saltillo, Coahuila, me gusto mucho por que me dio animo ya que como joven tenemos muchas tentaciones , pero me ayudo a saber que no soy el único que pasa por ese problema y también me puso a pensar que quiero ir a estudiar a un Instituto Bíblico por que mi sueño o meta es ser predicador , ese es uno de mis anhelos y quiero cumplirlo por ahora estoy orando para que sea con ayuda de Dios, también en el servicio de adoración he estado pasando a dirigir cantos al igual que la ofrenda o la cena del Señor, hoy enseñe 2 cantos nuevos a la congregacion que aprendí en Saltillo, este año que he estado aquí en León he crecido mucho espiritualmente, me siento muy contento gracias a Dios y a ustedes.

Hola queridos hermanos, pues les escribo estas cuantas lineas para que sepan algunas de tantas cosas que he hecho durante el mes, y digo lagunas por que a la hora de esta escribiendo unas cosas se me han de olvidado...

pues al principio del mes fui con mis papás a Gto a una escuela de verano, se llamo Rancho Avalancha, fue una experiencia muy bonita ya que nunca había trabajado con muchos niños, y me ayudo en mi paciencia y amor hacía los demás ya que el amor es un don que Dios me dio y tengo que repartirlo, regresando de Guanajuato, creí q esa semana iba a descansar pero no por que como no teníamos el suficiente dinero para ir a la reunión de jóvenes nos pusimos a lavar carros y a vender ropa, de ahí aprendí a trabajar en quipo y q es mas fácil q hacerlo solo ... y después de tanto trabajar en equipo vi los resultados al poder irnos a Saltillo a aprender mas de Dios por medio de la biblia, además de saber que yo y los demás jóvenes de León no somos los único que peleamos contra satanás, ahí también aprendí que hay q ser perseverantes y humildes... jejejeje como les dije al principio que algunas cosas se me habían a olvidar y creo q si ya se me olvidaron algunas... oh creo q ya me acorde de una mas que creo que te alegrara Carla, este Antonio se esta reuniendo con nosotros, aveces en la congregacion y otras veces aquí en la casa...

Mi turno...Este mes he tenido mucho trabajo con algunos proyectos de la Universidad (como siempre), pero hubo cosas agradables también:

Con los jóvenes tuvimos la Reunión Nacional Juvenil en la ciudad de Saltillo, es la primera vez que hacemos esto, y la respuesta fue buena pues fuimos 26 personas de nuestra congregación.

Para reunir dinero tuvimos que lavar autos, vender hot cakes, hacer rifas, vender ropa...fueron días largos, pero reunimos lo que necesitabamos para poder ir.

También este mes tuvimos un estudio cada semana con las chicas, leímos juntas un libro "La gran casa de Dios" y hablamos del Poder y el Amor de Dios en nuestras vidas, me gusta compartir con ellas esta clase porque aprendemos juntas y nos conocemos más.

Finalmente, en la congregación estoy apoyando con el calendario de las clases para los niños durante el sermón, animando a los hermanos a que participen y organizando las fechas para que cada domingo haya nuevos maestros para ellos.

No es mucho, pero ahi vamos en el camino. Sólo quiero decir GRACIAS por el amor que tienen para nosotros, por sus oraciones y su apoyo constante.

Dios les bendiga grandemente. Les queremos mucho.

Hermanos en Cristo de la iglesia en Lake City reciban un abrazo de parte de la famila Rubio.
Están todos ustedes presentes en nuestras oraciones, pidiéndole al Señor que los llene de bendiciones en su trabajo y pidiéndole que tengan prosperidad en lo espiritual y material. Nos da mucha alegría recibir noticias de ustedes animándonos con sus palabras y sabiendo que estamos presenes en sus oraciones.
nosotros nos encontramos bien aquí en León Gto trabajando para la Iglesia.

Este mes tuvimos muchas actividades, nos visito un grupo de jóvenes de Oklaoma y junto con ellos pintamos el edificio donde nos reunimos para dorar al Señor. También tuvimos un convivio todos juntos y pudimos aprender cosas de ellos en principal como trabajar en equipo para Dios.

Ximena ya salio de vacaciones y también termina su primer año de kinder y esa emocionada por que pronto sera una niña mas grande.
Betillo sigue trabajando y lo domingos esta dando clase dominical para los niños.
Fabiola hizo su examen para seguir estudiando y este sábado 5 de julio le dan sus resultados para saber si aprobó el examen y si lo aprueba se hiria a vivir a Guanajuato también esta trabajando como ya lo saben ayudando en la Iglesia.
Jazmín en este semestre termina su carrera, pero en estas vacaciones de verano estará trabajando.
Esperanza atendiendo su casa y dando clases tanto en los domingos como en la casa.
y yo cuando no tenemos trabajo en la congregacion, parte del día me la paso leyendo ya sea la biblia o libros que enseñen de la doctrina de Dios.
Y todos juntos como familia tenemos noche de oración donde cantamos himnos y oramos.
y lo que nos llena de gozo es que Jazmín ya regreso a vivir con nosotros nuevamente.
También del 5 al 12 de julio vamos a ir a trabajar con la Iglesia de Guanajuato con algunas personas de Texas, el D.F ,Toluca y León.

Hermano esto es parte de lo que hacemos aquí en León,le pedimos sigan orando por nosotros y a su vez gracias por todo lo que están haciendo por nosotros y gracias al Señor los tenemos ustedes como nuestros ángeles. Dios los bendiga.

grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7b I'm writing these leters to tell you about our work here in Leon, GTO. We have been writing about the work we do in the church each one of us.

EN LA IGLESIA

ROBERTO R:Trabajando con Omar, Shawn y Arturo planeando todo lo referente a la Iglesia

ESPERANZA: Termino de dar clases a los niños este domingo 27 de abril , al igiula que participando con las actividades de las mujeres, los viernes da una clase (una vida con proposito)a 2 mujeres de la iglesia.

Roberto: Working with Omar, Shawn and Arturo planning everything for the church.

Esperanza: Finished giving classes to the children this Sunday April 27th, and she's also participating with the activities of the women, Friday she gives a class (Purpose driven life) to 2 women of the church.

JAZMIN: Tambien termino de dar clases a los niños, apoyando a las mujeres (clases, devocionales, juegos, etc) y animando tambien a los jovenes de ir a una reunion nacional en saltillo.

Jazmin: Also finished giving children's classes, helping with the ladies (classes, devos, games, etc) and also encouraging the youth to go to the national youth rally in Saltillo.
FABIOLA: Trabajando como secretaria para la Iglesia,
BETO: Participando en el servicio dominical (en lecturas, cantos, oraciones)

Fabi: Working as a secretary for the church.

Beto: Participates in Sunday morning service (reading, songs and prayers).
XIMENA: En las clases aprendiendo (ella dice que tambien quiere dar clases)
Tambien hemos tenido los jueves limpieza en el edifico junto con las otras familias misioneras y los AIMers.

Y todo haciendolo para Dios, eso es lo que hacemos cada uno para la Iglesia.

We have also been cleaning the building with the other missionaries and AIMers. We also had a party for the kids April 30th and doing it all for God. That's what each one of us is doing for the church.

EN LA CASA

ROBERTO R: haciendo cosas que antes de conocer realmente a Dios, creia que solo era deber de las mujeres. (lavar trastes o ropa, barrer) cosas que aqui México para los hombres causa vergüenza, ahora son cosas que hago cosas que hago con gusto para ayudara a Esperanza.

Roberto: I'm doing things that before I really knew God, I thought were what women should do. (wash dishes, clothes, sweep) things that here in Mexico are embarassing to a man, now they are things that I do happily to help Esperanza.

ESPERANZA: Como ama de casa, atendiendo a la familia.

FABIOLA: Fue a Guanajuato a sacar su ficha para la universidad, aunque tuvo dificultades lo logro y ahora solo queda esperar para el dia del examen y lo mas estresante la entrega de resultados.

Esperanza: Takes care of the family.

Fabi: Went to GTO to get a date for the university. Even though she had some difficultlies, she did it and now we have to wait for a test date and the most stressful the results.

BETO: En su trabajo

JAZMIN: Estudiando ya que le queda muy poco tiempo para graduarse y con mucho trabajo y tareas.

XIMENA: ya se le cayo un diente, y a ella le gusta ayudar a lavar los trastes y lavar.

Beto: working

Jazmin: studying with just a little time left til graduation and with a lot of work and homework.

Ximena: she lost a tooth and she happily helps wash dishes and clean.

Gracias a Dios nuestra casa es bendecida y casi siempre tenemos visita de miembros de la Iglesia.Hermanos estas son algunas cosas de las que hacemos aqui en León.

Les Damos Gracias a Dios por todo esto pero tambien les damos gracias a todos y cada uno de ustedes por el apoyo que nos brindan poder hacer todo esto.

Hola, les escribo estas letras, primerimente para desearles que esten bien y que Dios los tenga con salud y que nuestro Senor Jesucristo este con ustedes. Nosotros estamos bien, trabajando en la obra del Senor.

Hi, I'm writing you these letter, 1st hoping you are good and that God keeps you healthy and that Jesus Christ our Lord is with you. We are goo and working in the work of the Lord.

La primera semana de este mes fuimos para comonfort. Su aguelo de Esperanza se puso enfermo y fuimos para apoyarlos. porque se esperaba que ya no se recuperaria. pero gracias a Dios el se recupero. Los hermanos de aqui de Leon, GTO estuvieron orando por el.

The 1st week of this month we went to comonfort. Esperanza's grandfather was really sick and we went to help out, b/c they didn't think he would recover. But thank God he did. The church here in Leon, GTO was praying for him.

Nosotros seguimos trabajando aqui en Leon, GTO junto con los hermanos de la Iglesia, participando, Esperanza, Jazmin, Lety, Betillo y yo. Tenemos clases Esperanza y yo. Clases que nos esta dando el hermano Omar Palafox. Clases que nos han servido para entender mejor el camino de Dios y que nos han servido para poder dar consejos, tanto a nuestros hermanos en Cristo como a nuestros familiares, continuamos con nuestras celulas tenemos una aqui en la casa semanalmente. Tenemos tambien un dia de oracion cada semana con la iglesia.

We are continuing to work here in Leon, GTO with the brothers in the church, participating, Esperanza, Jazmin, Lety, Betillo and me. We have a class Esperanza and I. A class that Omar Palafox is giving us. The class has helped us to understand better the way of God and it's help us giving advice to our brothers in Christ and our family too. We continue in hosting the weekly cell group in our home. We also have a week time to pray with the church.

Lety ya esta trabajando para la Iglesia. Lleva parte del trabajo de lo que son folletos, de lo que se hara en la iglesia. Beto y Yami participando en clases y en el servicio dominical. Esperanza dando clases tambien para los ninos y participando con las mujeres de la iglesia. Yo trabajando con los lideres ayudando en lo que se puede. Ximena, ella sigue en la escuela. Tambien este mes tuvimos un seminario de matrimonios y tuvo exito. Tuvimos tambien una campana evangelistica quizas no fue lo que queriamos pero gracias a dios la gente que estuvo creemos que salio edificada.

Lety is working for the church. She helps do flyers. Beto and Jazmin are participating in the classes and service on Sunday. Esperanza gives classes too for the kids and helps with the women in the church. I am working with the leaders doing what I can. Ximena, she is still in school. Also, this month we had a Marriage Enrichment Seminar and it was good. We also had an evangelistic campaign, maybe it wasn't what we wanted, but thank God the people that attended believe it was edifying.

Son algunas de las cosas que hicimos en este mes de Febrero. Tambien hemos tenido 2 o 3 bautismos.

These are the things that happened this month of February. Also we had 2 or 3 baptisms.

Hemos tenido tambien algunos sinsebores pero los hemos podido superar con la ayuda de Dios y sabemos que no seran los ultimos. Sabemos que tambien Satanas trabaja para poner obsticulos pero tenemos un Dios poderoso que esta con nosotros y si El esta con nosotros quien contra nosotros.

We have had some trials too, but we have over come them with the help of God and we know they won't be the last. We also know that Satan works to put obsticles, but we have a powerful God who is with us and if He is with us who can be against us.

January Report

Hola Hermanos,
Dios los bendiga y los lleno de fortaleza. Les escribo estas letras para contarles de las cosas que hemos tenido en el mes de Enero.

God bless you and fortify you. I'm writing you this to tell you about the things that we have done in January.

Primeramente para decirles que seguimos firmes en el camino de Dios y trabajando para que mas gentes conozca de este camino que nos llena a ser mejores personas y a conocer realmente la verdad, la verdad que solo podemos encontrar en Dios.

1st off we want to tell you that we are firm in the way of God and we are working so that more people can know this way that helps us be better people and know the real truth, the truth that we can only find in God.

Estamos contentos de estar aqui en Leon, GTO. Trabajando en equipo con nuestros hermanos que nos recibieron de una manera que no mereciamos. Gracias a Dios hemos recibid muchas ayuda de parte de ellos gracias a Dios por ellos.

We are happy here in Leon, GTO. We are working as a team with our brothers that have received us in a way that we don't deserve. Thank God we have received a lot of help from them thank God for them.

Estamos como le dije anteriormente trabajando en los planes para este ano de la iglesia. Ya estoy con ellos en las reuniones que se hacen semanalmente para llevar a cabo dichos planes. Los proximos dias 15 y 16 de Febrero tenemos un seminario de matrimonios.

We are, like I mentioned before, working in the plans for this year for the church. I'm with the team in the meetings every week to complete the afore mentioned plans. The 15 and 16 of Feb. we will have a marriage seminar.

Estamos tambien teniendo estudios en celulas como tambien estudios que estamos tomando para seguir aprendiendo mas de Dios. Fui tambien invitado para la reunion de lideres de las iglesias de Cristo en toda la republica reunion que se hace anualmente en el mes de Enero. Este ano fue en Guadalajara, Jal.

We are also having small group studies, also like the studies we are taking to continue learning more about God. I was also invited to the leader meeting of all the churches of Christ in all of Mexico, that happens one every year in January. It was in Guadalajara, Jal. this year.

Como familia estamos bien gracias a Dios. Ximena sigue en el kinder. Fabiola va ayudar en la Iglesia llevando todo lo que se refiere al papeleo un trabajo como de secretaria. Jazmin echandole ganas a su ultimo ano de carrera y participando y ayudando en clases para ninos dentro de la Iglesia y fuera de la Iglesia ayudando a ninos con problemas de aprendizaje, va a una escuela para ninos indigenas. Beto tambien participando en la Iglesia ya ha dado algunas clases o devocionales para jovenes. Esperanza trabajando con las demas hermanas en todo lo referente a la Iglesia ahora esta evangelizano a una persona todos los Sabados.

As a family we are good, thank God. Ximena (Hey-men-a) is still in Kindergarten. Fabi is going to help the church doing all the paperwork, etc working as the secretary. Jazmin is working hard in the her last year of her career and participating and helping in teaching the kids in the church. Outside of church, she is helping kids that have learning problems. Beto is also participating in worship and he has taught some classes and devotionals to the youth. Esperanza is working with the sisters in every part of the church and now she is evangelizing a person every Saturday.

Y yo con mas responsabilidad de servir ya que ahora pertenezcoal equipo de liderez de la Iglesia. Dios quiera y podamos llevar esta responsabilidad de servir como El quiere. Hermanos esto es parte del trabajo que ahora tenemos y parte de lo que hicimos en Enero.

And I have a lot more responsibilities to serve now that I am part of the team of leadership in the church. God wants and we want to take this responsibility to serve like He wants. Brothers, these are part of the work that we have now and part of what we did in January.

Nos despedimos de ustedes agradeciendoles todo lo que han hecho y hacen por nosotros. Gracias por todas las tarjetas recibida en el mes de Diciembre. Gracias a todos y a cada uno de ustedes por sus oraciones bendiciones y sus deseos para con nosotros. Gracias por ensenarnos a caminar con Dios. Gracias a Dios por ponerlos en nuestro camino, porque gracias a Dios y a ustedes ahora estoy y estamos juntos mi familia y yo.

We say good bye to you thankful to for all you have done and do for us. Thank you for the cards that we received in December. Thank all and each one of you for your prayers, blessings and your well wishes for us. Thank you for showing us the way to God. Thank God that he put you in our path, because thanks to him and you I am together again with my family.

Sorry it's been so long!

Alright, Rubio fans...I know it's been nearly a month, but it's been a CRAZY month!!! Lord willing, in the near future this will be handed over to Roberto and/or family, but until then I will keep you posted. We had a Thanksgiving dinner for nearly 40 at the church building and the next day the church hosted a medical campaign for glasses. We saw over 270 people in one day! It was a long day. Everyone worked together and blessed a lot of people.

Yesterday was the Ladies day. Esperanza was a JEWEL for the ladies program. She is doing a great job and brings a lot passion and love to the program. We look forward to seeing the ladies program continue to grow. There were 105 in attendance at the ladies day! That is not even counting the nearly 40 kids and over 20 adults and helpers.

Below is some pictures of the potluck today. Needless to say, there was TONS of food and some good fellowship! Please continue to keep the Rubio family in your prayers. I will post some more pictures later.

Hermanos, antes de contarles las cosas que se han hecho o que han pasado este mes de octubre, quiero agradecerles por las tarjetas de felicitación por el día de mi cumpleaños, que aun siguen llegando.

Hermanos este mes fue un poco difícil por cuestiones económicas ya que como ustedes saben por causas plenas no llego el sostenimiento a tiempo. Pero le damos gracias a Dios que con la ayuda de la familia Gary, Johnson, y Palafox fue más llevadera la situación.

Les hacemos saber también que poco a poco nos estamos involucrados en el trabajo de la iglesia aquí en León, GTO. Estamos participando en algunas células, visitando hermanos. También hacemos tenido oportunidad de predicar en el servicio dominical. Jazmin da clases a los niños, Betillo estuvo involucrado el Domingo pasado pasar el pan, el jugo de uva y en la colecta de la ofrenda. A Esperanza le toco la clase de mujeres esta mes y estamos tratando de trabajar día con día mas en la obra del Señor.

También este mes o estos dos meses que vamos a cumplir aquí, nos han visitado nuestros familiares. Ha venido la mama de Esperanza, un hermano y una cuñada de Esperanza. Mi papa con un hermano mi también nos visitaron. Ximena, mi hija mas pequeña, sigue creciendo y esta en segundo de kinder. Betillo tiene un trabajo. Fabiola le ayuda a su mama aquí en la casa y esta ahora acomodándose en un trabajo.

Hermanos esto es parte de las cosas que hacemos aquí en León, GTO. Quizás es muy poco lo que estamos haciendo por el momento, pero estamos firmes en el camino de Dios nuestro Señor. Sabemos que a veces es difícil. Pero nosotros queremos seguir el ejemplo de Jesús Cristo o su enseñaza de llevar el evangelio y así como nosotros lo aprendimos por medio de algunos de ustedes así nosotros enseñaremos a mas personas a conocer verdaderamente a Dios y a tener una vida de dedicación a El.

Hermanos gracias otra vez por todo Dios les bendiga. Los amamos en el amor de Cristo. Saludos y abrazos a todos ustedes. Gracias por sus felicitaciones y oraciones y buenos deseos para nosotros. Brothers, before I tell you about the things happening and the things that have happened this month of October, I want to thank you for the cards I have received for my birthday and are still arriving.

This month was a little hardBrothers, this month was a little hard for economic reason, as you know for various reasons our support didn’t arrive on time. But we give thanks to God that with the help of the Gary, Johnson and Palafox families we were ok.

We want you to know that little by little we are more involved en the work of the work here in Leon, GTO. We are a part of various cell groups, and visiting church members. I have also had the opportunity to preach on a Sunday morning. Jazmin teaches one of the children’s classes. Betillo was involved in helping pass the communion plates and offering. Esperanza gave the ladies class this past ladies day and we are trying day by day to do more in the work of the Lord.

Also this month, or these two months that we will soon complete here, we have been visited by our family. Esperanza’s mom, brother and sister – in – law has come to visit. My dad with my brother have come to visit too. Ximena (he-men-a), my youngest daughter is growing and is in kindergarten. Betillo is working. Fabiola helps her mom in the house and just got a job.

Brothers, this is part of the things we have done here in Leon, GTO. Maybe it’s very little what we are doing right now, but we are firm in the way of God our Lord. We know that it’s hard some times. But we want to follow the example of Jesus Christ or his teachings to take the gospel and just like we learned from some of you, we can teach more people to know the true God and have a life dedicated to Him.

Brothers, thanks again for everything, God bless you. We love you with the love of Christ. Salutations and a hug to everyone. Thanks for your remembering my birthday and praying and your well wishes for us. Thank you to the church of Christ in Lake Cities. Ladies Day

Yesterday was our bimonthly ladies day class. Esperanza shared a message about being workers for the Lord and not just listeners. Here are some of the pictures from the event.

Yesterday was our missions Sunday. We collected nearly $3,000 pesos (around $300 dollars) and the money will be sent to Guanajuato, Guanajuato. It's about a half an hour from here. Please pray that God will be glorified through this sacrifice from His people!

Happy Birthday! Today was Roberto's ?? birthday! We had a good time fellowshiping, eating (pratically the same thing in the church of Christ!) and laughing. Please keep this family and their adjustment to life in Leon in your prayers! Below is a picture of our work day today. Obviously we did a lot more than post pictures on the wall, but as you can see...there was a LOT of pictures!!

Se que a través de casi tres anos casi nunca le hice un reporte en forma.

Pero se que como dice la palabra de Dios en Eclesiastés 3:12 “Que todo tiene su tiempo.” Y creo que es el momento de empezar a hacerlo empezare contándoles primeramente cuando nos fuimos a estudiar la palabra de Dios a Toluca.

Al principio como todo cambio tardamos un poco en acostumbrarnos, pero con muchas ganas por aprender de las cosas de Dios.

No todo fue color de rosa, pero gracias a Dios pudimos superar todo y terminar bien a lo que vinimos.

Conocimos también a muchas hermanos en Cristo, con algunos de ellos formamos nuestra célula y nos reuníamos cada Viernes para tener un estudio sobre la palabra de Dios. Junto con ellos visitamos a enfermos en los hospitales llevándoles algo de comida, orando con sus familiares y mas importante llevándoles la palabra de Dios.

También nos toco dar el evangelio y gracias a Dios nos he toco bautizar a algunas personas y también como estudiante dar algunos devocionales todo esto gracias a Dio.

En este lapso lo mas importante fue que todo mi familia fue evangelizado y como consecuencia de esto bautizada Esperanza, Jazmín, Lety, Beto solo falta Ximena.

En Abril fuimos Esperanza y yo con un equipo que Carla hizo a Chiapas a trabajar con algunas Iglesias de Chiapas.

En Junio 23 del 2007 nos graduamos Esperanza y yo después de esto estuvimos trabajando casi un mes en una nueva congregación cerca de Toluca. Ahí me dieron la oportunidad de predicar. Anteriormente lo había hecho en el pueblo de donde soy originario en Comonfort, GTO.

Cuando fue nuestra graduación Jazmín nuestra hija que esta estudiando en León, GTO invito a un hermano quizás conocido por algunos de ustedes el es Shawn Gary. El me invito a dar algunas clases en el mes de Agosto más días 2, 3, 4.

Ahora estoy viviendo aquí en León, GTO. Junto con mi familia estamos rentando una casa que con la ayuda de Shawn y algunos hermanos pudimos conseguir.

Estamos aquí para trabajar con la Iglesia de León y primeramente Dios el próximo año trabajaremos al cien por ciento con esta Iglesia.

Ahorita estamos conociendo a todos los hermanos ya nos reunimos en algunas células.

Ximena ya entro al Kinder.

El domingo 14 de octubre me toca dar el mensaje. Poco a poco nos vamos adaptando al cambio de Toluca a aquí.

Hermanos les pido mil disculpas por todo lo que le he fallado al no reportarles como es debido. Pero de aquí en adelante les haré saber de todo lo que hagamos y tenerlos al tanto de lo que nos pasa.

Gracias por todo lo que han hecho por nosotros y se que nunca podemos pagarles que gracias a ustedes podamos estar junto mi familia y yo. Pero mas que todo agradecerle que gracias a ustedes podemos conocer la verdad conocer nuevamente a Dios. También les agradecemos al sacrificio al estarnos apoyando. Dios los bendiga, porque gracias a Dios y a ustedes hace tres años empecé a conocer la verdad y desde ese día mi vida cambio junto con la de mi familia.

Reciban todo nuestro agradecimiento nuestro amor los amamos en el amor de Cristo.

I know that over nearly the last 3 years, I have hardly written a formal report.

But I know that the word of God en Ecclesiastes 3:12 "Everything in it's time..." And I think this is the moment to start, so I will start when we moved to study the word of God in Toluca.

At first, like in any change it took a while to get use to, but with a lot of passion to learn the things of God.

Not everything was perfect, but thank God we were able to rise above everything and finish what we planned. We met a lot of brothers in Christ, with some of them we formed a small group and we met every Friday to study God's word. Together with our small group we visited sick people in the hospital, we took them something to eat, we prayed with their family and above all took them the word of God.

We also shared the gospel and thank God we were baptized some people and also as a student, we gave some devotions all thank to God.

During this time the most important thing was my family heard the gospel and because of that, Esperanza, Jazmin, Lety and Beto were baptized, only Ximena is left.

In April, Esperanza and I with a team that Carla picked went to Chiapas to work with some of the churches.

June 23, 2007 we graduate, Esperanza and I, after that we were working nearly a month in a new congregation near Toluca. They gave me the opportunity to preach. Before that I had preached in my home town Comonfort, GTO.

When it was our graduation, Jazmin (our daughter studying in Leon) invited a brother that some of you might know named Shawn Gary. He invited me to give a class August 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

Now I am living in Leon, GTO with my family. We are renting a house that with the help of Shawn and other brothers we were able to get. We are here to work with the Church in Leon and Lord willing, this next year we will work 100% with the church. Right now we are getting to know the church and we are a part of a couple of small groups. Ximena is in Kinder. Sunday October 14th, I will preach. Little by little, we are adapting to the change from Toluca to Leon.

Brothers, I beg your forgiveness for not writing reports like I should have, but from now on I will keep you informed with everything we do. Thank you for all you have done for us and I know that we could never repay you for allowing my family and I to be together. But above all, we want to thank you that we know God. We also want to thank you for your sacrifice in partnering with us. God bless you, because thanks to Him and you, 3 years ago we started to know the truth and from that day my life changed along with my family. Please receive our thankfulness and love in Christ. Bienvenidos

Hey everybody. I'm super excited to announce the arrival of "The Rubio Family blog". Roberto has asked me to help him post reports, pictures, etc in an effort to better communicate. He will write the reports in Spanish and I will help translate and post them on his blog. He has also given me permission to post pictures, and brag on them, since they are very humble people.
The Rubio family was invited to work with the Leon Sur congregation in July and arrived early September. They have hit the ground running with Bible studies in their home, multiple visitors, etc. Moving is always a financial challenge, not to mention exhausting and stressful. We have seen them shine through all this and continue to learn and work for the Lord. Please keep this family in your prayers during their continued transition and adjustment to life in Leon, Guanajuato!
